ALLOY SOLDER
(LITHIUM/A123 applications)
THICKNESS : 1.22mm
62% tin, 36% lead, 2% silver solder with
a very sharp melt transition. Solid to liquid
at 179°C. By careful temperature control, component
displacement and thermal damage can be minimised.
The alloy is also exceptional in its wetting/flow
capabilities and the silver content prevents leaching
when soldering to silver or gold plated surfaces,
preventing embrittlement. Additionally the joint
is considerably more stable during thermal cycling
with reduced risk of fracture. The wire has a
five-core Ersin® flux filling. Conforms to BS219
Grade 62S, DIN 1707. |
